Next, we show your child what we will be doing. After we explain what we will be doing, we will show them the tools and maybe allow them to hold or touch the equipment.
Do:
Now we will do the work in a way that your child will feel comfortable and secure. For example, they can raise their hand to ask us to stop or they can hold a mirror if they like. We want them to understand that we are respectful of their feelings and they are in control.
